About
AURA of EDEN is a sanctuary for intentional wellness, created to support your body, mind and spirit. Founded by Sophie, this space was designed to offer more than treatments — it offers meaningful experiences that restore balance, calm the nervous system and nurture deep connection.
This space exists for all aspects of your wellbeing. Every offering is delivered as an unhurried experience, allowing you to fully soften, settle and receive. Quality is always prioritised over quantity, with intimate group settings for events and retreats so that attention is never divided and each person feels genuinely supported. It is not about large numbers — it is about meaningful connection and personalised care.
Offerings include massage therapy, energy healing, sound therapy, intimate workshops, Soul Connection gatherings and immersive retreats — each thoughtfully curated with intention and care. Every detail is considered, creating experiences that feel grounded, nurturing and complete.
With international training across Indonesia, Thailand, India and Nepal, Sophie brings traditional practices into a warm and welcoming setting. Each session is personal, attentive and carefully tailored to ensure you feel seen, held and fully supported.
The intention is simple: to create a sanctuary where you can slow down, reconnect and prioritise your wellbeing — where everything is designed with you in mind, so you receive exactly what you need.
Meet Sophie
Owner/operator
Sophie is a holistic wellness practitioner, yoga teacher, massage therapist and retreat facilitator devoted to creating spaces that feel safe, nurturing and deeply authentic.
Born in Perth with Indonesian–Dutch heritage, she spent her early years in Indonesia, surrounded by traditional healing, ceremony and warm hospitality — where wellbeing was woven into everyday life. That way of being continues to live through her work today, shaping the way she holds space and cares for others.
Her love of health and wellness began young through sport, competing at a high level in karate and earning her 1st Dan black belt. At 14, she attended her first yoga class with her mother. What began as an occasional practice slowly became a consistent part of her life — especially after motherhood, when yoga deepened into something more grounding, restorative and honest.
In 2012, Sophie began her professional journey in massage therapy, which opened the doorway into yoga, meditation, breathwork, sound therapy and retreat facilitation. An injury guided her to deepen her personal practice and eventually complete yoga teacher training in India. She has since trained across Indonesia, Thailand, India and Nepal, learning through ancient traditions and embodied experience.
Her work weaves together therapeutic bodywork, embodied movement, Reiki, sound healing and sacred stillness — offering intentional, heart-led experiences designed to help you slow down, soften and gently reconnect with yourself.
Sophie has facilitated numerous retreats centred on self-care, reflection and holistic health, always prioritising intimate groups and meaningful connection.
Outside of her work, Sophie is a mother to two boys, partner to an incredible human, and dog mum to two sausage dogs. She lives an active, full life — running, weight training, yoga and Pilates — and finds deep inspiration in nature. Camping, hiking, surfing adventures, paddle boarding and spontaneous off-track road trips fuel her connection to the earth and continue to inform her grounded, holistic approach.
She speaks Indonesian and Javanese fluently and is currently learning Spanish, reflecting her love of language, culture and connection.
Whether welcoming you into her home therapy space, guiding you through workshops and events, or holding space on retreat, Sophie invites you into a place where you are supported, seen and truly held.
You are welcome here.
